Last week, our Year 4 students had an amazing incursion with Reverse Garbage, learning how to design and build sustainable houses using repurposed materials! With creativity and problem-solving at the forefront, they explored the impact of waste and the importance of eco-friendly choices.

🌏🧡 Harmony Day at Holy Family Primary 🧡🌏

Today, we came together as a school community to celebrate Harmony Day and support Project Compassion. Students added a splash of orange to their uniforms, symbolising inclusivity and respect, and engaged in meaningful classroom activities to reflect on the importance of harmony and compassion.

To deepen our understanding of global challenges, we participated in a water relay—walking in the shoes of children and families around the world who face the daily reality of walking long distances to access water. Each grade took on the challenge of carrying water while spilling as little as possible, saving their house colour's water to contribute to each colour's total. In the end, the house with the least amount spilled was crowned the winner! 🏆💧

It was a day of learning, empathy, and action as we worked together to make a difference. 💪✨ A huge thank you to our students, families, and staff for making this day a success.
